Wow! As a reader and friend, I'm torn between enjoying the display of Elemental qualities (which you describe so well) - and a greater concern for the disruption of the peace and security of your vacation home, and any loss of valuables - but you're here to tell the tale, so I pray Part 2 is coming with some good news!

[...] Patrician McCarthy for one. She is an amazing woman who for 20+ years has studied the science of Mien Shiang, a 3,000-year-old Taoist practice that literally means face (mien) reading (shiang). It saved her life. (She was married to a doctor, yet it was a Mien Shiang expert she was interviewing for her thesis, who spoke very little English, who saw in her face that she had an inflammation of the heart and convinced her to rush to the hospital right then for treatment. If she hadn’t listened, it would have killed her.) [...]

Thank you, Frank. As always, I appreciate your thoughts and insights. I agree - your life has taken some interesting and creative turns. Literally and figuratively! A Palm Springs workshop might be just the thing! Let's think about that. All best, always, Patrician

Patrician! I enjoyed reading this and thanks for sharing on FB. It is so true that staying true to our purpose is challenging and that we have to experience many joys and disappointments before we know why we are here and what we are supposed to be doing. My life has wandered like a cowpath and I wouldn't change a thing, however I do wish I had a crystal ball for my purpose some times. Maybe you should offer your workshop in the Palm Springs area! Big hug to you, Frank
